My Red Hot Chili Peppers story

Computicket Red Hot Chili Peppers
I was amazed when I saw on Facebook that people were getting tickets on Monday already when it was only announced on Monday and officially opened on Thursday for ticket sales.

I asked a friend how they got tickets and went straight to the RHCP site where I queued. There were over 5000 people ahead of me, when it was my turn they said golden circle was sold out.

I bought general standing just incase. When I called Computicket they assured me only 10% of the tickets went on sale and that if I called them on Thursday they would upgrade my tickets to golden circle. I called them at 8:00am this morning and they said they could not help me and that I should call back 8:50.

I went to Computicket website where I joined the presale queue.

At 9:02 I was told there were over 5000 people ahead of me again.

I tried calling Computicket from 8:45 to upgrade my tickets, and at 9:20 there was a message on the queuing system that golden circle and general standing were completely sold out so I gave up.

I am very happy that I managed to get standing tickets on Monday, but feel it is unfair to sell out of tickets before the ticket sales is actually open.

Fans that perhaps didn’t know about the presale tickets have now been left with tickets they would not have necessarily bought if they had an option because tickets were sold out before officially opening.
