It's actually a joke what Cape Town went through this morning. (I know that JHB went through the same thing)
How Big Concerts can have such poor ticket sale management with Computicket, especially with a act like RHCP...
I was in the front of the line at the Big Bay checkers, we even asked Checkers to let us in 5 mins early so we could be ready with our cash and waiting at the counter at 9am (when ticket sales APPARENTLY opened.)
When 9am came and we selected Golden Circle tickets, the screen showed "Solded Out" and jumped straight to the General Standing option. (Do you want to tell me thousands of tickets were sold in less then one minute?)
So, I did what I was left to do and bought General Standing tickets.
When I had got back to my car (within minutes) my friend called me to say General standing had been sold out.
An entire show sold out in 20min!!!!!
Guess thats what happens when you hear peoplE could go online and buy 80 tickets online at one go!
