46664 coming to Jozi
The Mother City hosted the first 46664 all-star concerts in 2003 and now 4 years later it’s back in Mzansi again. This time it’s Joburg’s turn in the spotlight. An estimated 50,000 people are expected to support the fifth International 46664 Concert, at Ellis Park on World Aids Day on the 1st December 2007. Madiba said, “Johannesburg has long asked for a concert to be held here and I am happy that we can now deliver. We look forward to being joined by thousands of citizens on that day.” The concert is expected to be the biggest to date, with between thirty and thirty-five local and international artists. Artist’s names haven’t been disclosed yet. So watch this space…

Jacko married again
Michael Jackson has allegedly married his children's nanny. According to real estate documents, The 'Thriller' singer and 40-year-old Grace Rwaramba married in Las Vegas earlier this year. Apparently Grace is one of his dearest friends. She is one of the few people who stood by his side through all of his problems, including the child molestation trial in 2005. Jackson has been married twice before. He married Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie in 1994. He married his dermatologist's nurse Debbie Rowe, the mother to his ten-year-old son, Prince Michael Jackson II and nine-year-old daughter Paris in 1996. And now he’s married Grace. He also has another son, five-year-old Prince Michael Jackson III nicknamed 'Blanket', whose mother’s identity is unknown. Eish Michael, we hope it lasts this time around!

E&M Duet
Elton John and Madonna are set to collaborate on a new record to mark their recent reconciliation. Elton recently apologised for accusing Madonna of lip-synching during her world tour and hopes they can work together in the recording studio. He is quoted as saying: “Madonna is a great artiste and I think I shoot my mouth off too much really. Who wouldn't want to work with her? I have written a groveling apology and offered to join the Kabbalah!” Elton has collaborated with the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, hip-hop producer extraordinaire Timbaland and now the Queen of Pop. This ought to be interesting! Can’t wait!

Jilly on the down low
Neo-soul songstress and actress, Jill Scott landed her first lead role in famed director Anthony Minghella's movie ‘No.1 Ladies Detective Agency’ based on Alexandra McCall Smith’s best selling book. She plays the part of Precious Ramotswe, a hard working woman that decides to open up her own private detective agency after the death of her father. In the dramady Precious Ramotswe (Scott) and her assistant Mma Makutsi (Anika Noni Rose - Dreamgirls) take on a cheating husband, insurance fraud, witchcraft and a kidnapped youngster. Shooting has already begun in Botswana. Miss Jilly has also just released her latest album, ‘The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol.3’. Jill has been really busy, maybe she could swing by in Mzansi and give us a real live show! Mzansi fans would love that fo’ sho!

Hypocritical Diddy
P. Diddy shouted and cursed at a nightclub host who asked him how many people were in his entourage. The hip-hip mogul arrived at New York's Goldberg with four friends and lost his temper with a female member of staff when she didn't immediately allow him entry to the club. Apparently Diddy called her a 'f***ing b***h' and opened the velvet rope and let himself through. Meanwhile, Diddy enforced his own strict door policy at his annual White Party earlier this month. Guests - including Billy Joel's wife Katie - were turned away for breaking the strict all-white dress code. Katie was told she could only enter the party if she exchanged her cream outfit for an all-white one, but she refused and left the party with Billy. Ag sis maan, Diddy!

Odour Usher
The 'Yeah' singer has become the latest star to launch a signature scent. Usher For Women and Usher For Men was unveiled at a party in New York's Cipriani restaurant last week. Usher told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Fragrance is another way of interpreting emotion and that's what Usher For Men and Usher For Women are - it's sophisticated for a woman, and confident for a man. “I wanted to offer a piece of myself, no different than a beautiful song I may create that takes many instruments, stories, and places I've gone to create those songs,” he said. The fragrances were inspired by Usher's pregnant wife Tameka Foster. Eish the man’s really ‘got it bad’!!

Sould out
The Spice Girls' London concert has sold out in just 38 seconds! More than one million fans registered for tickets for the December 15 show and those randomly selected in a ballot quickly bombarded the phone lines to secure their seats. So now two more London dates - December 16 and 18 - have been added to cope with the huge demand and a fourth concert proposed for 2 January 2008. The reformed girl group will also perform in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Cape Town(yes, the mother city first, children) and Hong Kong. They will release their greatest hits album next month. Talk about a comeback! Ching Ching baby!
