Nude Ntsiki pic creates drama
According to The Media Magazine, the Sowetan newspaper is in hot water for re-publishing a picture of Ntsiki Mazwai , who posed in the nude for Marie Claire magazine to raise money for Rape Crisis. Marie Claire editor Kate Wilson said the Sowetan used the photograph of poet Ntsiki Mazwai, the daughter of publisher Thami Mazwai, without consent. It was used in an article that read: "Red-blooded men are drooling over the nude photograph of Ntsiki Mazwai published in the March issue of Marie Clarie magazine." Wilson demanded an apology from the Sowetan after it appeared in the newspaper on Friday 22 February. In the picture published in Sowetan, a black strip covered Mazwai's pelvic area and in Marie Claire she’s completely nude. Fortunately for Sowetan, Mazwai didn’t take the legal route since the issue has been "amicably resolved" with Marie Claire. Ntsiki’s sister, Thandiswa, was also set to pose nude in Marie Claire's rape awareness campaign but withdrew at the last moment. Smart choice sista, since you’re a mother and all.

"Kevin’s Command Performances" included the likes of Loyiso, Prime Circle, Skwatta Kamp, Louise Carver, Malaika, Danny K in studio with a live studio audience and an unplugged set from each artist. It was a first in SA - a fine pioneer indeed! Marley Movie
Rita Marley is going to be the executive producer for the first biopic on her late husband Bob, according to Hollywoodreporter.com. The film will be based on her 2004 autobiography No Woman No Cry: My Life with Bob Marley. Rita says that she will be very involved in the movie and already has a good idea of the cast. She believes that daughter in law Lauryn Hill would be great at portraying her. According to Hoolywoodreporter.com Rita said: "Lauryn would be ideal to play me. She sees her life as my life." Two actors will portray the role of Bob. One will show him as a 15-year-old boy and another will be him as an adult. His grandson Stefan, whom Rita says is a “spitting image” of Bob, is being considered. Talk about keeping it in the family. Rita intends being on set every single day. She added: "Every inch of me is there and I don't want a fairy tale or Cinderella story. The movie is to be released late 2009. Eish it’s a long wait but should be worth it.

J-Lo scared of germs
Jennifer Lopez has allegedly turned into a 'germaphobe' since becoming a mother reports Bang Showbiz. The singer is so terrified of her newborn twins contacting germs that she’s installed dispensers containing a special hand lotion for people to use before they enter the nursery. Jennifer and hubby Marc Anthony are allegedly so concerned about microscopic germs they also request guests put on surgical masks before meeting the tots. The couple has also supposedly hired an extra six bodyguards to ensure the twins' safety, costing them $600,000 annually. In addition to the six bodyguards, who will each work an eight-hour shift to protect the tots 24 hours a day, they’ve also installed CCTV (closed-circuit television) cameras in every room in their house. The twins names are Max and Emme. Eish Max and Emme are already in trouble if their mama’s going all Wacko Jacko about germ warfare!

Mariah scarey, scared of motherhood
Meanwhile Mariah Carey is scared of being a mommy reports Bang Showbiz. The singer is currently dating record executive Mark Sudack and admits that she wants to start a family in the future, but only when she is in a position to devote herself entirely to a child. She said: "Obviously having a kid is a commitment for life. I really would have to be very, very positive that I was in a place where I could completely focus and put everything into the job of being someone's mommy because it's hard enough to have a puppy." You don’t say! Mariah's new album. E=MC2 is scheduled for release in April 2008.

Cow says no to Viagra
Pop Idol’s Mr Mean face Simon Cowell turned down a £1 million offer to be the face of Viagra, reports Bang Showbiz. The 48 year old music mogul said he was "insulted" when he was asked to advertise the drug, which helps impotent men have a fulfilling sex life. "Last year, my agent rang me and said, 'You've been offered an incredibly big deal. It's to be the face of Viagra.” He responded with, “Sorry, but that has to be a f***ing insult”. Simon might not need any help in the bedroom but he’s admitted to seeking help to stay looking young. The 'X Factor' judge has confessed he has regular Botox injections to smooth out any wrinkles. "To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works; you do it once a year - who cares? But I'd never dye my hair, although I know everyone thinks I do!" he revealed. Yeah right!

Mandoza’s woes
Shame. It just doesn’t end with Mandoza. A few weeks back we reported on how he was sinking in a tornado of debt and now he could be charged for homicide. The kwaito star was involved in a car accident that left two people dead in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Mandoza was driving his new SRT Chrysler, on his way back to the Mzansi Awards after-party after dropping his wife, Mpho at his mom’s in Pimville, reports Sunday World. Mandoza apparently crashed into a VW Jetta that had braked in front of him. He claims that the brake lights from the Jetta were not working. Two unidentified men who were in the vehicle died at the scene and Mandoza was rushed to Flora Clinic, where he was treated for minor injuries and was discharged in the morning. 2008 is clearly not looking so great for Mr Nkalakatha.

Tokollo finally free
Well it looks like Mandoza can call on his buddy Tokollo aka Magesh to give him tips on how to deal with the trauma of car crashes that involve two deaths. What a bloody co-incidence! Former member of 90s hit trio TKZee, Tokollo Tshabala was finally acquitted on Friday after a seven-year trial following a car crash in which two people were killed in Botswana reports The Times. Just moments after his nightmare ended with the Gaborone Magistrate’s Court discharging the case against him, the former TKZee star wanted nothing more than to celebrate with his Batswana friends according to The Times. But his father, former Bafana Bafana coach Stanley “Screamer” Tshabalala, would have none of it and forbade him in front of the public outside the court building. “You are not going anywhere with those guys,” he shouted. “Those boys never vouched for your innocence in court but hardly a day after your acquittal you want to go out and party with them. I refuse.” Good. You might be a free man but you still need to listen to your papa Magesh!
