Kabelo sues Gurash over drug claims
Kwaito artist Archibald Motlhatlhedi, aka Gurash, is facing a quarter of a million rand lawsuit from his Black Jack collaborator Kabelo after he alleged that Bouga Luv was peddling drugs while thumbing the Bible, reports the Sunday World. The lawsuit follows several damning statements made by Gurash to the paper, which included that Kabelo was pushing drugs while studying to be a pastor at Rhema Church. In court papers, Mabalane denies he was taking drugs, let alone that he offered Gurash any. The former TKZee member says he suffered R250 000 worth of damages as a result of the statements. "I won’t tolerate being defamed. I will do whatever it takes to protect myself. That is all I can say for now," says Bouga Luv. The court papers state that Gurash’s statements were false and malicious, and would degrade and humiliate the plaintiff. When contacted to comment about the suit, Gurash declined to comment. Weird how plaintiffs are always able to assign a monetary value to the "suffering" they have endured. But Gurash should’ve known better. You don’t mess with a church man.
