Leona, Beyonce, Mariah and more sing for charity
Leona Lewis has recorded a charity song with Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles, reports Bang Showbiz. The British star has teamed up with 14 of the world's top female singers - including Rihanna, Fergie and Sheryl Crow - for “Just Stand Up” for the Stand Up To Cancer Charity, which will be released in early September. The super-group will also perform the track on stage for in the Stand Up To Cancer benefit show, which is set to air simultaneously on three US television networks on September 5. The full list of artists appearing on the track are: Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Fergie, LeAnn Rimes, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Melissa Etheridge, Carrie Underwood, Ciara and Keyshia Cole. That’s an impressive line, no doubt – but with so many strong vocalists sharing the bill on one track, its doubtful if anyone will be able to tell Rihanna from Beyonce or Ciara from Carey on this one.
