On his SAMA awards experience
“I didn’t win a SAMA award but I was nominated and I also presented an award, I also performed at the awards. It was a very good feeling; I didn’t expect to do so many things because my album had just been released for six months. I was very happy being nominated and also to take part at the SAMA’s.”
On why he is Da Bomb and not a One hit wonder!
“The difference with me, that I take my job serious. I give it time and I want people to be happy for their money. That is why I am not in a rush to release…”
On the pressures of being a Durban artist when the media has us believing you can only make it if you are a Jo’burg playa.
“I have managed to do it while I was in Durban, I don’t think there is anything that can push me to move to Jo’burg. I have managed to do it while I was here.”
