Cape Town - MTV announced the nominations for this year's Video Music Awards on Tuesday, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift are leading the pack.
Ariana and Taylor are tied for the honour of being the most-nominated artist this year with 10 nominations each.
Followed closely by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X who are up for nine and eight respectively. Billie and Lil Nas will face off in the Best New Artist Category.
New additions to the award show include categories for Best K-Pop and Video for Good.
In that category BTS is facing off against BLACKPINK, as well as Monsta, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, NCT 127 and EXO.
