50 Cent gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Cape Town – 50 Cent has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The ceremony for the rapper whose real name is Curtis Jackson was held on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Fellow rappers Eminem and Dr Dre joined the celebration to honour the musician.

In his speech 50 Cent thanked Eminem and Dre for their support reports People.

"I don't honestly think my career would have been what it was without their support. Dre is a mentor for the whole squad because he's been doing it long before that and was able to guide us in different ways without even knowing that he's doing it."

The Candy Shop rapper shared pictures of his big day on Instagram. Alongside a photo, he wrote: "My star is in front of the burger joint, I wanted it to be by Trumps so I could get coverage when he's gets vandalised."
