Esjay Jones
South African born producer, songwriter and influencer, Esjay Jones returns to her home town of Durban on Sunday 22 October 2017 with LA based DJ, SHASTA for a FREE concert in benefit of Diabetes South Africa. Don’t know who Esjay is? Check out our interview with her here. The show on Sunday will be taking place at Northwood Crusaders Sports Club. Gates open at noon. Oktoberfest at Hillcrest Quarry
Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville Winelands, will play host to the official Windhoek Oktoberfest Cape Town brought to you by Namibian Breweries. The festival will be taking place from Friday to Sunday this weekend. Expect some authentic German music from The Kirchdorfer band who have been the official band in the "Hacker-Festzelt" at the Oktoberfest in Munich since 1994. Kwesta is bringing his A-Team at Booth Night Club this Saturday. Join the celebration as Makwa launches their new single iNamba featuring Kwesta, Kid X and TLT. Doors open at 22:00. Click here for more info.

Konjo Vol 1.
The first installment of KONJO is taking place at The Woodstock Foundry on Saturday. KONJO is an independent Pan-African music and culture movement that curates events of eclectic music from South Africa, the greater African continent and the African diaspora in the global south. Acts set to perform include BLK JKS, who will be performing in Cape Town for the first time in over 4 years, The Brother Moves On (jhb) ft. Shabaka Hutchings (bb/uk) and Hi, I'm K-$, Zara Julius (jhb), Paul Waxon and matsang (visuals). Tickets cost R150 at the door. Doors open at 17:00. Click here for more info.

Nitro Circus
The Nitro Circus is returning to South Africa. The high-adrenaline tour will kick off in Cape Town on Saturday, 21 October. The global action sports phenomenon will bring an all-new show with them, filled with unbelievable world firsts, spectacular tricks and mind-blowing stunts. Adding even more to the excitement, action sports icon Travis Pastrana, who wasn’t able to take part in the 2014 trek, will join this summer’s tour, and will ride in South Africa for the first time. You might know them as Acoustic Element, but cousins Callen Petersen and Jody Abel now call themselves ALT EGO. Wanting to explore a different side to Acoustic Element, they stayed true to the acoustic feel of their instruments whilst exploring the alter ego of their own brand. The result: ALT EGO - a brand new, electrifying dance act, where violin and guitar fuses with electric synths and house beats. Catch them live at Café Roux in Cape Town on Friday at 19:00. International rap trio Migos have arrived in SA! Yes, it’s true, click here to see the pics! The rappers - Quavo, Offset and Takeoff - well known for their hit Bad and Boujee, are set perform at the ICC Arena in Durban on Friday, October 20 and the Ticketpro Dome on Saturday, October 21.
