7 BBC Live Lounge covers you have to watch right now

Cape Town – BBC Radio 1 celebrated its 50th birthday with one of the most spectacular Live Lounge Months in its history.

For those of you asking, but what is a 'Live Lounge?' It is a segment on British radio station BBC Radio 1 which features some of music’s biggest names performing one of their own songs as well as a cover version in the Live Lounge, which is a physical room in the Radio 1 studios.

And this year, as part of its annual Live Lounge Month in September, they went all out celebrating the station’s 50th birthday with music royalty such as Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Pink, Harry Styles, Lorde, Sam Smith and more.

So to celebrate with them, and good music in general, we take a look at our favourite cover performances in September.

Check them out here (in no particular order):

2) Harry Styles covers Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain

3) Miley Cyrus covers Roberta Flack’s The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face
