7 new local music videos you might have missed

Cape Town – It’s been quite a busy month as far as new local music videos go.

So to catch you up, we’ve compiled all the brand new local music videos in one piece.

1. The Plastics – Sunscream
Today sees the release of The Plastics’ new music video for their single, Sunscream. The video features the band jamming in an open space while the stop-motion animation of Simeon van den Berg and his team brings everything to life.

2. Wonderboom – Great Escape
Wonderboom released their brand new single Great Escape last week, the first new material to be released since their 8th studio album The Automatic Shuffle back in 2011.

3. Bouwer Bosch – Sy Klink Soos Lente
Bouwer also released a new music video for the title track of the film, Sy Klink Soos Lente. The film stars Stiaan Smith and Amalia Uys and is set for release in cinemas nationwide on 30 September 2016.

4. December Streets – Santa Fe
December Streets released their latest music video for their song, Santa Fe on Friday. The video was filmed in Cape Town and directed by Willem van den Heever.

5. Snotkop – Cool Soos Koos Kombuis
Snotkop released his brand new video for Cool Soos Koos Kombuis earlier in July. The video was shot in Johannesburg and in Cape Town and even features an appearance by the legendary Koos Kombuis himself.

6. Die Heuwels Fantasties
Earlier in July, Afrikaans band Die Heuwels Fantasties released a music video for their song Sy.

7. Diamond Thug – Kommetjie
Cape Town based band Diamond Thug released a new video and song earlier this week. The band named the song after the town Kommetjie as it has a special place in their story as a band.
