Cape Town – Grammy winning RnB artist Anthony Hamilton will be bringing his Back To Love tour to South Africa in August.
The Pray For Me singer will perform in four different cities across the country during his stay during Women's Month.
Tour organisers Afropulse Entertainment were thrilled by the upcoming tour.
"The timing is perfect – he has just released his new album Back To Love which is doing extremely well not only overseas but locally too. Anthony Hamilton is loved by South African audience both males and females, young and old and different races too," they said in a press statement.
Gold status
The singer burst into the world RnB stage with his Comin Fom Where I'm From album which featured the hit Charlene .
His latest and fourth album release Back To Love has also done well since its release late last year and reached Gold status in South Africa recently.
The musician recently tweeted his appreciation to South African fans for making his latest album a success.
"Wow. To all my fans in the S. Affffricaa, THANK U 4 you making Back To Love gold! I can't wait 2 get back & perform 4 U! Love y'all (sic)," he tweeted.
He is scheduled to perform at Ellis Park Arena (formerly known as Standard Bank Arena) on 16 August, Cape Town ICC on 17 August, East London Buffalo Park on the 18 August and will end the tour at Peoples Park in Durban on 19 August.
