Dr Conrad Murray fears death in jail

Los Angeles - Dr Conrad Murray fears he will die in prison.

The medic is serving time in Los Angeles County Jail for the involuntary manslaughter of his patient Michael Jackson - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009.

He is pleading with a judge to move him as he feel the conditions of the jail are taking a serious physical toll on his body.

'I'm dying in here'

Murray's lawyer told gossip website TMZ.com he is only getting fresh air once a month, and clean underwear once a week. This is said to be badly affecting his health with his hair, nails, and skin in bad condition and him suffering from a constant headache, which he is worried is a brain tumour.

Murray also says he's been refused medical attention and has not been allowed to see a doctor.

He reportedly told his attorney, Valerie Wass: "I may not make it out of here alive. This is a very dangerous place. I'm in here dying. The system is intent on killing me."

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has said it doesn't comment on pending cases.
