Justin Bieber in SA in 2013 - reports

2012-11-22 12:00
Cape Town – Justin Bieber is coming to South Africa in 2013 to perform two shows, reports Die Burger.

According to Die Burger, Justin van Wyk of Big Concerts let slip that Bieber will be touring South Africa next year while speaking at an event at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town on Thursday.

Van Wyk said he can't confirm dates yet, but Bieber will be doing two shows, one in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg.

However, Gwen Ironsi of Big Concerts told Channel24 that no contract has been signed as yet, and as a result she "cannot comment".

@Forman he's been to South Africa on vacation before....2010 I think. I remember coz he had lunch where I was planning to go, and shut the place down. This time around his visit is formally announced so we will know which spots to avoid and not risk bumping into him

Translated: "I am aggrieved by this news, and resolutely declare that I believe he is part of the Illuminati that also worships the devil - and that I have no part in this. I also believe he may have the proverbial "mark of the devil", which is a micro-chip that has already been inserted into his body."

  • monique.jackson0 - 2012-11-22 12:50

Please stop teasing us like this! Fingers crossed he comes soon!

      rohin.jadin - 2012-11-22 13:24

@formandzen - thinking back in the days when i was a young(er) girl - I would swoon over the likes of Modern Talking, and AHA - thinking those guys were hot - it wasn't about the music at all - so I guess it's just teenage hormones.

      monique.jackson0 - 2012-11-22 14:53

formandzen: what have you done with your life??? I ask this out of interest. And if Bieber isn't talented then why is he one of the world's best artists? You don't have to be a druggie, have long disgusting hair or molest kids to be a talented star! You probably just jealous because he is more successful and more talented than you could ever imagine. I enjoy lots of different music and it's surprisingly not according to my "teenage hormones." (And I was a teenager a good couple of years ago.) I'm not going to sit back and do the cool thing by hating the kid. He's obviously good at what he does or else we wouldn't be reading about him or writing this.... If he's coming to SA I'd like to see him. He's an amazing performer and he's done well so kudos to him.

  • rohin.jadin - 2012-11-22 12:53

I'm so excited... pity i'm washing my hair that night.

  • lmtoba - 2012-11-22 12:53

I aint no Bieber fan, but what about Durban? We always get left out. Come on please!!

      andrew.hendrikse - 2012-11-22 14:11

Durbs is an unreliable market...too many shows have lost big bucks trying to include Durbs. Promoters are to scared to risk on Durbs..That's the reality!!

  • BubblesdoubleO7 - 2012-11-22 13:01

Sounds cool, but I'm gonna have a headache that day.

  • attie.mostert.9 - 2012-11-22 13:03

  • amanda.rose.733076 - 2012-11-22 13:05

Jealousy is a terrible thing Justin obviously has more money and clearly more talent than all of you posters put together, so leave him alone.

      KReddy - 2012-11-22 13:08

If you measure life and happiness by money, wealth and popularity then you can gladly so suck his uhm, what does he have?

      nick.vuletic - 2012-11-22 13:19

@willem - Bwahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaaaaaa! Best Reply ever!!!!!!!! What do you think about that Amanda!? I'm dying here...! :D

      rohin.jadin - 2012-11-22 13:25

he is prettier than me :-( *Sigh*

      dragonfire47 - 2012-11-22 13:29

TALENT, ha ha ha is it april fools already, floyd, hendrix, the who, led zep, metallica, now there's real talent not some overpaid whining pisher of a wannabee rap crapper

      sonia.bloem - 2012-11-22 13:33

I bet I can give him a run for his money!!! In so many ways

      george.vonberg - 2012-11-22 13:53

you know i don't like him or his music too much but unlike most internet trolls i still give credit where credit is due. He taught himself to play drums, guitar and piano. I can barely play one of those, and he did that when he was still pre-pubescent (although he might still be now). he does have a good voice, not amazing but which male pop singers of THAT age have the amazing voices right now? The guy is a slave to his genre of music and will lose that tween girl hype within 2 years and be a jonas brother type situation, but dont say he does not have any talent.

      angelique.p.ervin - 2012-11-22 15:22

Ahhh Amanda, shame it seems you have come down with a nasty case of Bieberfever... U should get that checked out, could be harmful to your health.... PS: Paris Hilton has a ton of money, and bugger all talent. Being rich doesn't mean you have talent. If you don't have the same amount in your bank, can I label you stupid then??????????

      marlyse.wood - 2012-11-23 08:29

I so agree Amanda, you all had you believes in a pop star once a upon a time, let us and our kids feel that too!

      klipkop.degroote - 2012-11-23 13:20

hahaha more talent! hahahaha I drew the picture of me you see here, can she do that? cause she cant sing.

      klipkop.degroote - 2012-11-23 13:25

And is this proof of the talent: And I was like baby, baby, baby, oh Like baby, baby, baby, no Like baby, baby, baby, oh I thought you'd always be mine, mine

  • KReddy - 2012-11-22 13:06

Willem I'm sure that bieber puke sold on eBay for millions. Some teen swooning over peas & carrots. • grant.logan.94 - 2012-11-22 15:45

I won't go to either but to all the haters, he will probably sell more tickets than Metallica #justsaying.

      rohin.jadin - 2012-11-22 16:19

you're right, I'm sure it will sellout - I have no doubt the bit of bieber bashing is a little tongue in cheek - it's not going to change anyone's opinions either way. if you're a fan, go and enjoy, if not , don't - much like metallica, RHCP, Gaga, rodrigues etc etc ... I guess we should all just be grateful that all genres and age groups are being catered for, and we must all just wait till our turn comes around.

  • russellblack.cowan - 2012-11-22 16:56

Thank you very much, i'll move to Nkandla for the period of his stay in SA when he comes so i'll be as far away from him as possible.

  • russellblack.cowan - 2012-11-22 16:59

Let's ask Zuma if we can all stay in his COMPOUND when he comes. Than ad least we'll be getting our money's worth for what we are paying.

  • russellblack.cowan - 2012-11-22 16:59

I think this is the way god is punishing us for our sins.

You haters please dont be spiteful to him..what the heck did he ever do? his a normal BOY. You guys are all jealous that he has Selena. and last time i checked selena is a girl and justin is for sure a boy. what did he do?? answer that question and all your replies are probably gonna be 'he sang and danced and he was born etc" but everyone is laughing at You guys so please contain your hate..no one cares!!! that goes for all the beliebers. so please who cares about your negative comment. im sure his show will be sold out in 22 seconds unlike Metallica who will be sold out in like 7 hours. posting these hate comments show you have interest towards him. if you really didnt care you wouldnt be searching him let alone post comments thats just putting effort into the biebs. i love you justin bieber!!! will be at your concert!
