Live’s Ed Kowalczyk adds 2nd Jozi date after SA tour sells out in 48 hours

Cape Town – Ed Kowalczyk’s Throwing Copper unplugged tour surpassed all expectations when the first Cape Town date sold out in 15 minutes.

Music fans in Johannesburg and Cape Town rushed to snap up tickets as they hit the market - the tour was sold in 48 hours. Now an additional show has been confirmed.

AMP Events Director and music promotor Andy Mac says: "At AMP we believe in giving the fans what they ask for - the demand from Johannesburg has blown us away and Ed Kowalczyk is delighted to add another night to the sold-out South African tour."

The extra Johannesburg concert will take place on 24 September 2015 at Carnival City. Tickets are on sale now via Computicket.

Throwing Copper was a groundbreaking rock album released in 1994 by the American alternative rock band Live. Founding member, songwriter and former lead singer, Ed Kowalczyk, is currently touring the world to mark the 20th anniversary of the album, playing all 14 songs in track order from beginning to end, unplugged along with a handful of other Live hits from their impressive catalogue.
