Computicket has implemented a new booking system to ensure smooth running as high volumes of users try to purchase tickets. See the step-by-step video here.

Computicket has been keeping people updated as to what is happening with the bookings on Tuesday via their Twitter account. According to Computicket, "the system has not crashed, it is now a queuing system and delays can be expected due to the high volume of site usage".

Their latest update reads as follows: "The #LadyGagaSA queue timer has been disabled to avoid confusion. The timer was merely a estimate based on the max possible time for booking".

Big Concerts also posted the following on their Facebook page on Tuesday: "A quick update for you... Based on the current load, we anticipate processing between 7 000 and 9 000 tickets per hour. Currently there are 38 000 people in the queue to purchase tickets."

Many South African 'monsters' have already bought their Lady Gaga tickets hassle-free and shared their delight on Twitter.

I logged on to book tickets and went into the queue, I logged on at 9:01am so by standards it seems I was late. I waited just over 3 hours and managed to book my tickets however the 15min allocated time ran out very quickly when I was trying to pay for the tickets and it now said the tickets I had booked or clicked on were no longer available so I had to start all over again.. I made it with 23 seconds to spare. Also, I double clicked on ‘buy tickets’ there was no confirmation that I had now possibly purchased 4 tickets instead of 2, I now have 2 e-mail confirmations of tickets bought but I have not tried to print them out. If I have purchased 4 tickets instead of 2 by mistake there does not seem to be an easy way to reverse this.. buying tickets from a human being seems to be easier.
