Pretoria – Rap superstars including Nicki Minajand Grammy-winners Macklemore are flocking to Mzansi later this year for the TribeOne festival.

The festival will take place in Pretoria from Friday, 26 September till Sunday, 28 September 2014 according to TribeOne's Twitter account.

In case you live underneath a rock/only listen to talk radio this is one of Nicki Minaj’s biggest hits, Super Bass:

Her records have been certified 8x platinum and she’s a pretty big deal. WE’RE SO EXCITED.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have set music video channels from here to Beirut alight first with their catchy hit Thrift Shop and then with their poignant video for Same Love:

They cleaned up during the last award season in the states picking up Grammys, MTV Awards and more. We can’t wait to see them live on African soil.

South African audiences might be a little less familiar with rap new-comer J Cole, but his most recent album, Born Sinner, has hip-hop heads nodding to his sing-rap style. His videos are also nothing to sleep on.

Check out his clip for She Knows:
