Roxette to return to SA in 2012

Cape Town - Big Concerts has announced the return of Swedish duo Roxette to South Africa in 2012.

Roxette kicked off their first World Tour since 1995, titled Charm School, in February 2011 which saw them perform seven sold-out shows in South Africa in May 2011.

Now, after the success of their 2011 World Tour, which consisted of 53 dates to over 650 000 people, Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle have decided to do another World Tour in 2012.

Roxette hit international fame in the late 80s with The Look from the album Look Sharp!.

Since then, the band has regularly featured on album and singles charts all over the world with songs like It Must Have Been Love, Listen to Your Heart, Joyride, How Do You Do!, Dangerous, Fading like a Flower and Dressed For Success.

They have also sold over 75 million albums.
