Cape Town - Ahead of his brand new album launch, Channel24 brings you an exclusive pre-stream of Nate Ruess' Grand Romantic.

Grammy award-winning recording artist Ruess, who is of course known around the globe as the singer/songwriter of indie pop supergroup Fun, is set for a wide range of activity surrounding the release of his eagerly anticipated debut solo album. Grand Romantic – which features the hit single Nothing Without Love – is set for release on 16 June.

Ruess will further introduce Grand Romantic with a number of major international concert events. Highlights include sold-out headline performances at London’s Wilton’s Music Hall on 10 June, New York City’s Webster Hall on 17 June and Los Angeles’ brand new Teragram Ballroom on 24 June, plus top-billed appearances at festivals.

As if that weren’t enough, 30 May will see HBO premiere The 30th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, filmed last month at Cleveland's Public Hall and highlighted by Ruess and Beck’s stunning version of Lou Reed’s Satellite of Love. The upcoming appearances follow Ruess’s recent "key advisor" role on NBC’s The Voice as well as the live TV debut of Nothing Without Love on March’s iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Last but certainly not least, Ruess will be honoured with the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s prestigious "Hal David Starlight Award," established to honour gifted songwriters who are making a significant impact in the music industry via their original songs. Past awardees include 2014 honoree Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds, Taylor Swift, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, Drake, Benny Blanco, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Rob Thomas, and John Rzeznik. The 2015 Songwriters Hall of Fame Annual Induction and Awards Dinner will be held Thursday, 18 June in New York City.
