Sam Smith partied hard after winning 4 Grammy Awards!

Los Angeles - Sam Smith feels like he's ''dying'' from a hangover.

The Stay With Me singer took to his Instagram account on Monday to share his pain after knocking back a large amount of booze in celebration of his impressive four Grammy awards.

Alongside a photograph of him in bed, he wrote: ''I am on another level of hungover right now. Literally feel like I'm dying haha.''

The 22-year-old singer also admitted the effects of the alcohol from Sunday night's after-party had made him emotional as he slowly recalled the antics from the ceremony.

He shared a photograph himself holding his four gongs on the front page of the Los Angeles Times, which he captioned: ''What actually happened last night? I am monumentally hungover and keep spontaneously crying lol (sic).''

The British star was left stunned at the Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, after he bagged himself the top prize of the night, Best New Artist.

But his success wasn't limited to just one gong as he also walked away with Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his hit Stay with Me and Best Pop Vocal Album for In the Lonely Hour.
