Seether coming to SA for semi-acoustic tour

Cape Town – Seether will be returning to South Africa in November for a semi-acoustic tour, "An Intimate Evening With Seether".

The alternative metal band will be playing in Cape Town, Durban and will be headlining the Parklife Festival in Johannesburg.

Seether's SA shows will have a storyteller-type atmosphere and the band will be joined by local acts for all three shows.

Dirty Skirts, Shortstraw and ISO have been confirmed for the Parklife Festival with more local acts to be announced soon. Farryl Purkiss and Jeremy Loops will be joining Seether in Durban and Taxi Violence (unplugged) in Cape Town.

Seether comprises of singer, guitar player and song writer Shaun Morgan (Welgemoed) and base player Dale Stewart, both from South Africa, and American drummer John Humphrey.

The band will also release a career retrospective "Greatest Hits" double album in October in support of their tour. The album will feature a collection of their greatest hits along with three unreleased tracks, rare b-sides and live tracks.
