Cape Town – Young and upcoming director, Ryan Kruger has won Best Video Award for South African band Taxi Violence's new video Heads Or Tails (Unplugged) at the 2011 Wirral International Film Festival.
The director also won the Best Video Award for The Turn by Taxi Violence at last year's awards ceremony and now 2011 has seen him win the Best Video Award once again for his work on Heads or Tails (Unplugged), also by Taxi Violence.
All winners of the Wirral International Film Festival are automatically entered into next year's Italian Film Festival held in the twin peninsula of Sezze Latina.
Taxi Violence released their first unplugged album in May 2011 with Unplugged: Long Way From Home.
The tracks from Unplugged: Long Way From Home are reworked versions of songs from the albums Untie Yourself and The Turn except for three new tracks, which includes the new single Between The Heavens And The Deep Blue Sea, released to radio the week of 14 November.
