Adam Levine thanks critics following lukewarm reviews of Maroon 5's Super Bowl show

Cape Town - Adam Levine has thanked critics for pushing Maroon 5 to "do better", following the lukewarm reception to their Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The frontman was highly criticised for the band's performance on Sunday at the popular sporting events.

In a post on Instagram, he wrote: "Some of the words that came to me in that moment eventually made their way onto the incredible lanterns that flew high and low tonight."
