Cape Town - Rapper Fabolous has struck a plea deal with prosecutors in his domestic violence case, after a violent spat between the rapper and his girlfriend.

Last year in March, the rapper was arrested on a domestic dispute that was captured on video which went viral.

The explosive fight caught on camera happened between the rapper and his girlfriend Emily B who is also the mother of his two kids.

Fabolous allegedly knocked out Emily B’s front teeth and threatened to shoot her and her father.

The Brooklyn rapper was facing up to 20 years behind bars after he was charged on four counts related to the incident, one for domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two for threatening to kill and one for possession of a weapon.

TMZ reports his win plea deal agreement with the Bergen County, NJ court ordered Fabolous , whose real name is David Jackson to enter “pretrial intervention program” that is normally given to first offenders. This means the Brooklyn rapper will not be going to jail, however, he will have to attend domestic violence classes and make sure he stays out of trouble.

If he is able to avoid any trouble for about a year the case will get withdrawn and there won’t be any charges against his name.

This charge came as no surprise as the rapper has patched things up with longtime girlfriend, Emily and they remain a couple today.
