Ard Matthews, Grassy Spark and more to open for a-ha on SA tour

Cape Town – International hitmakers a-ha will bring their current global tour to Cape Town on 14 February 2020 at the Green Point A Track and to Johannesburg on 15 February 2020 at Marks Park, Emmarentia.

The tour is titled a-ha play Hunting High And Low Live and with less than a month before it kicks off, have announced the opening acts! The support acts have been chosen to ensure there is an awesome local mix of developing newcomers, and well-established fan favourites.

In Cape Town on Valentine's Day, the Mother City's own Grassy Spark, Sean Koch and The World of Birds will get the crowd going before a-ha take to the stage for these popular hits.

In Jozi, the next day, fans can look forward to a music-packed afternoon with local musos Ard Matthews, who will perform some of his classic solo hits and tracks from Just Jinjer, along with Absinthè, James Deacon and Werner Bekker for an unforgettable live show.

Concert-goers must make sure to get there early to enjoy the day's line-up and support their local talents before a-ha take to the stage and perform some of their biggest hits from over the decades – Take On Me, The Sun Always Shines On TV, Crying In The Rain, Stay On These Roads, and many more!

After announcing that their a-ha play Hunting High And Low live tour will be different from anything, they have previously undertaken, a-ha timed the international tour to celebrate the thirty-five anniversary of the release. The show, however, also includes a full second set that is full of their classic hit tracks and some musical treats.
