Aussie rockers The Temper Trap to headline Lush Festival in Clarens

Cape Town – The Lush Festival returns to Clarens on Easter weekend 2017 with Lush 2.0 and organisers announced on Tuesday that Australian rock band The Temper Trap will be the international headliner.

Taking place from 14 to 16 April 2017, Lush Festival organisers Breakout also announce the first of many local acts to grace its 3 stages at the festival. First to join the line-up are Jeremy Loops, Karen Zoid, Francois van Coke, Koos Kombuis, Fuzigish, Shortstraw, We Are Charlie, Kyle Watson and Chunda Munki. Jeremy Loops also brings an explosive new performance to Lush 2.0 with new songs due for release in 2017. Francois van Coke is set to release his new solo album in February 2017 and Karen Zoid has dominated 2016 as one of the year’s top live performers.

Anyone who has visited the small town of Clarens has experienced the tranquillity and beauty of its landscape as it’s nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Maluti and Rooiberg Mountains, a gorgeous setting once again for Lush 2.0. Along with the music and entertainment hosted at the festival, activities on site will include trail runs, mountain biking, abseiling and more.

There are also a few exciting additions to Lush 2.0. After the overwhelming response to the first festival, Luch will have extensive camping and parking space as well as a load of other surprises. The added land incorporates four new fields all the way down to the Caledon River. The festival will once again host 3 stages with The Willows as the main stage, the dance stage located in The Woods and The Owl stage all on the festival grounds.
