Australian band, The Buckleys, are not allowing social distancing to keep them from their fans. The trio, made up of siblings Sarah, Lachlan and Molly, have just wrapped up the second leg of their first-ever virtual world tour, and now they have their sights set on SA.
"Presented by Live Nation, the world virtual tour was developed in conjunction with the band's record label, Petrol Records and US label, UMe. Performing individually curated shows for different regions, all streamed through Live Nation's local affiliates in each of the participating countries, as well as the company's newly launched Live From Home platform. The Buckleys are one of the first bands to capture a global audience by performing a world virtual tour," a press statement explains.
Reaching over four million people so far, the second leg of their tour saw the band showcase their talents to fans in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
And now SA fans will get a taste of the popular "hippie country band".
The show will be streamed in South Africa on 28 May at 18:00 on the Big Concerts Facebook page.
