Music can give people hope even when it feels like there is none. Disney knows that, so they did a live singalong on Thursday night in America.
This piece of escapism was made even better when Beyoncé surprised fans by popping in and doing an incredible rendition of When You Wish Upon a Star from the Disney classic movie Pinocchio.
The actor and singer worked with Disney when she voiced Nala in the live action version of The Lion King. She started off her performance by saying: "Hello, to all of the families across the world, I’m very proud and honoured to be a part of the Disney family."
She then added: "I’d like to dedicate this song to all of the healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We greatly appreciate you."
Beyoncé concluded by saying: "Please hold onto your families tight. Be safe, don’t give up. We’re going to get through this, I promise. God bless you."
