BTS cancel Seoul concerts as coronavirus spreads in South Korea

K-pop megastars BTS on Friday cancelled four concerts they were due to hold in Seoul in April, their agency said, as the coronavirus outbreak spreads in South Korea.

"Cancellation of Seoul concerts," their agency Big Hit Entertainment said on a verified Twitter account, after the boy band held a press conference to promote their new album in an empty hall on Monday because of the virus.

One of the super group's biggest songs, Save ME has close to 360 million YouTube views so far.

According to News24 two South African citizens working on a Japanese cruise ship have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, known as the coronavirus.

The news site also confirmed that the first case of the disease was found in Nigeria. The case is an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milan earlier this week, Health Minister Osagie Ehanire said in a statement.
