Johannesburg - Local rapper Cassper Nyovest has just been nominated for another international award – this time – the International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA).
He is nominated in the category for Best International Act.
He will be going up against the likes of Davido, Black Coffee, P Square, La Fouine and Diamond Platnumz.

Earlier this year the 27-year-old rapper was nominated for The Best International Act Award at the BET Awards but walked away empty handed, after Sjava walked away with the prize.

Pearl Thusi has also been nominated in the Best Actress category – which was won by local actress Terry Pheto last year.

Cassper will also be performing at this year’s Global Citizen Festival where he will be sharing the stage with international acts such as Usher, Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
