Celebs wish Rick Ross well after emergency hospitalisation

Cape Town – Celebs have taken to social media wishing Rick Ross a speedy recovery after the rapper was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

TMZ broke the news that Ross had been rushed to hospital from his home in Miami on Thursday morning after he was reportedly unresponsive and “slobbing at the mouth.”

The publication went on to report that the 42-year-old – who has struggled with seizures in the past – was placed on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), which is a technique used to oxygenate the blood outside of the body before it's pumped back into the body, however Ross’ family have largely denied this.

It was later reported that Ross may have suffered a heart attack and is battling with pneumonia.

According to BBC Ross suffered two seizures in the space of six hours in 2011, due to lack of rest.

He said at the time: “I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving - me being a hustler.”

Following the news of Ross’ hospitalisation fellow celebs took to social media praying for his recovery.

A TMZ photographer caught up with Drake and French Montana at a pre-Oscars party who both said they were praying for him.
