Céline Dion cancels concerts to undergo surgery

Cape Town - Céline Dion has cancelled a series of concerts in Las Vegas to undergo surgery.

The effected concerts were due to take place – as part of her residency in the entertainment centre– from 27 March through 18 April at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The singer’s team made the announcement via her Facebook page on Wednesday and it said in part: “Céline has been dealing with a condition in her middle ear known as Patulous Eustachian tube, which causes hearing irregularities, and makes it extremely difficult to sing.”

Céline added: “My luck hasn’t been very good lately... I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens…”
