December Streets' new single will have you partying into the weekend

Cape Town - December Streets are back with a new single and it sounds like a summer party anthem.

Following the success of their hugely popular singles Wild Heart and Magic earlier this year, the South African indie-pop group's new single is titled, Messed Up.

About the new song, December Streets front man Tristan Coetzee said: "This is one of the tracks that has been brewing in my mind for quite some time, evolving and growing in concept & arrangement."

The track speaks to losing oneself to the vices the world has to offer, but eventually meeting a counterpart who understands your pitfalls and finally gravitating toward the realisation that the ups and downs of life are in fact, more colourful.

When travelling through the ups and downs with a person that truly gets you, hence the hook, "At least I messed up with you."
