Did Liam Payne just make his solo debut with leaked track?

Los Angeles - Liam Payne has made a hip-hop track with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J.

The One Direction star has lent his vocals to the song entitled You for the US rappers which has leaked online and he was forced to deny it is his debut solo "single" on Twitter on Wednesday night.

Alongside a string of laughing emojis, he declared: "Just to clarify I do not have a single what u just heard is something i get up to on a weekend lol (sic)"

However, fans are said to be delighted with Liam's first musical offering - which is available to listen to on music streaming site Soundcloud - and the song starts with the rap ''this goes out to all the chicks on snapchat'' before Liam croons, "all I need is you, anything you want, anything you want, all I see is you..."

But the star also rubbished claims the leaked track is even the finished version.

He added to his 22.7 million followers: "Hearing that I've got a single out lol thats a surprise to me that's a one take scratch demo I was writing with someone as an idea for them... Guess I need to guard my projects better ... They don't even let you finish these days."

Despite insisting his solo music isn't ready to be released, the star has clearly been busy in the studio in recent months.

The leak comes after the 22-year-old heartthrob - who is dating Cheryl, formerly known as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - uploaded a short clip of him singing along to another recorded song that features his vocals, which he revealed was a "Little Song I wrote for fun yesterday".
