Cape Town – Die Heuwels Fantasties is back with their first music video of the year since they released Ballade vir ‘n Enkeling and Doen Net Wat Ons Wil in 2015.
The alternative Afrikaans pop group had no idea how popular their single, Sy (Her), would become when they decided to send it to radio earlier this year.
Sy was played by at least 23 radio stations, is charting countrywide and recently hit the number 1 spots on Jacaranda FM 94.2’s Afrikaans Top 20 and Top 20 charts.
"Following Sy’s unexpected success we made work of it to give 'her' a face and life," says director Jacques ‘Jay’ Loots about the video.
The lead is played by Elani Dekker, who will soon be seen in the movie Jou Romeo. Her friends are played by the wonderful Angela O'Reilly and Carrie Mae Marder.
