Ed Sheeran sees his audiences as a 'blob'

Cape Town – Ed Sheeran told the star of the new film, Yesterday, Himesh Patel that he sees his audiences as a "blob" when he's playing on stage according to Total Film.

The British singer stars in the film which imagines a world where The Beatles don't exist.

The lead actor explained: "He says that they all become a blob and he entertains the blob. I wrote that on my script, 'entertain the blob'."

Screenwriter Richard Curtis - who also wrote Notting Hill and Love Actually among other hits - said: "There's a lot of Ed in the film, in the character, because Ed started playing in all the places our hero plays - like the Ipswich Agricultural Fair."
