Fans think Taylor Swift is married or engaged after the release of latest single

Cape Town – Chart-topping singer Taylor Swift has a new song titled Lover, and it has fans are wondering if she might have gotten engaged, or even if she's already married.

The single is the fourth track from her upcoming seventh studio album, which is also titled, Lover. The new album will be released on 23 August.

The lyrics include lines like: "Ladies and gentlemen will you please stand? /With every guitar string scar on my hand/ I take this magnetic force of a man to be my Lover." Which has resulted in some fans speculating as to whether or not the singer currently engaged (or perhaps already wed to) British actor Joe Alwyn. 

It must be noted that Taylor hasn't worn an engagement ring in any recent public appearances, or in any of her social media photos.
