Cape Town - Gospel star Tasha Cobbs two-day South African tour has been postponed.
Fans who were looking forward to seeing Tasha perform live this weekend were disappointed to learn that she won’t be making her way south.
Gospel Concert Events made the announcement on Tuesday morning that the Tasha Cobbs Leonard concerts due to take place at Ticketpro Dome on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February 2020 are postponed due to "unforeseen circumstances" which they didn’t divulge.
Gospel Event tweeted that organisers have rescheduled to a later date and fans will get their refunds but patrons will have until 5 March to claim.
"All ticket purchases made via Computicket’s website and call centre will automatically be fully refunded to the credit card used for the purchase. All patrons that have bought their tickets in-store would need to go to their nearest Computicket, Shoprite or Checkers outlet to process their full cancellation," they posted on Twitter.
Gospel star Ayanda Ntanzi who was among the artists who were meant to share the stage with Tasha shared his frustration with the organisers on social media.
He revealed that there were issues with the organisers of this event and thus he won’t be part of it. He added that he’ll be taking legal action.
"After numerous attempts to engage with the organizers of this event and sort out matters amicably have failed, I Ayanda Ntanzi have resolved that I will not be part of this event and will be seeking legal recourse!" he posted on his Facebook page.
