He's used to jet-setting around the globe to play at some of the largest events, and now, as we battle the coronavirus, that life has been put on hold for DJ Black Coffee.

We caught up with the renowned muso via Zoom to talk about what life in lockdown has been like, the live stream events he has been hosting to raise money for those in need, and his latest music offerings, which includes an upcoming single with Pharrell Williams.

Black Coffee hosts the Home Brewed live stream every Saturday via his social media platforms. The DJ picks a different organisation each week, encouraging fans to visit a crowdfunding page he has set up to share donations.

"We have done like at least a half a million rand of donations," Black Coffee mentions in our chat. Visit the star's Instagram page for more info on his next virtual event and where you can donate.
