Iggy Azalea: 'I felt scared of Peppa Pig'

Cape Town - Chart-topping rap star Iggy Azalea has admitted she felt "scared" by the prospect of going head-to-head with Peppa Pig in the album charts.

The cartoon character and the rapper released albums on the same day resulting in a viral feud. Iggy her second album is titled, In My Defence and Peppa Pig released My First Album

Iggy told E!: "I really was scared though because Peppa Pig is so popular with kids."

She added: "When I saw that Peppa Pig was releasing an album, I was like, 'Well that's it. I'm out of the race. I'm beat because I even started.' "

The feud went to the next level when Peppa and Iggy exchanged hilarious barbs on Twitter. 

Peppa tweeted: "Peppa's so fancy, you already know", to which Iggy replied: "Collab with me now or you'll end up a breakfast special Peppa."
