Cape Town - Jesse Clegg has taken to social media to remember his late father, Johnny Clegg.
The legendary South African musician died at his family home on Tuesday at the age of 66, after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015.
His son, Jesse, took to Instagram on Wednesday to pay tribute to his dad.
"Thank you for the magical gifts you have given us and for creating a special place in your life for your family," Jesse captioned his post.
"You have inspired me both as a musician and as a man, and given me the tools to live a meaningful life.
"I will miss you deeply and I struggle to imagine a world without you. But I am comforted to know that your wisdom and compassion lives on in all of us.
"Hamba kahle, Dad. Be at peace. You have done so much and we honour you. Love you always."

During an interview with YOU in 2009, the now 31-year-old musician shared what it was like to be on tour with his famous dad.
"We toured for six to nine months a year until I was six. I saw the world before I could even walk.
"By the time I was five I’d already filled an entire passport with stamps from all the places we’d been.
"We’d be on a tour bus all day and I went to every show. It was an adventure and made me realise being a musician has many not-so glamorous sides to it. It was the best schooling I could ever have had in terms of music."
