Cape Town – British actor Joe Alwyn has no problem being the object of Taylor Swift's affection in the song, London Boy or any other of her other loved-up pop hits.
The 30-year-old singer released her album titled, Lover which was not only critically acclaimed but also managed to top the charts.
The 28-year-old told The Sunday Times in an interview when asked if he was bothered by the sonic adoration: "No, not at all. No. It's flattering."
About the scrutiny it brings, Joe added: "I turn everything else down on a dial. I don't have any interest in tabloids. I know what I want to do, and that's this, and that's what I am doing..."
He explained: "I've learned that if I do, people think it's up for discussion, and our relationship isn't up for discussion."
Joe was speaking to the publication about the BBC's new version of A Christmas Carol, based on a book by Charles Dickens, which he stars in.
Joe plays Ebenezer Scrooge's underpaid clerk, Bob Cratchit in the Christmas classic.
Taylor most recently starred in director Tom Hooper's version of the musical, Cats, which premiered all over the world last weekend.
The film will debut in South African cinemas on Friday, 27 December 2019.
