John Legend defends Rita Ora for lip syncing at Thanksgiving Day parade

Cape Town  - British singer Rita Ora has been accused of lip-syncing during her performance at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The event took place on Thursday in America and organisers have apologised to the millions of viewers watching citing "technical difficulties".

About the incident, Ora wrote on Twitter: "Thank you and I appreciate the honesty and I hope everyone still had a great time!"

Other performers included Diana Ross and John Legend who stood up for Rita Ora.

Following the incident, John tweeted: “Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade because the floats don't have the capacity to handle the sound requirements for a live performance. Hope y'all enjoyed it anyway. Know that if you come to my shows, the vocals are 100% live!”
