Cape Town - Justin Bieber wants his fans to know what’s going on with him and why he isn’t ready to tour again.

The pop star, who’s been battling with his mental health ever since quitting his world tour in 2017, penned an emotional post on Instagram in which he addressed his 106 million followers’ concerns about his lack of desire to hit the road again.

"I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realised, and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that," the No Brainer hitmaker wrote.

"You pay money to come and have a lively, energetic, fun, light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour." He’d revealed in a February 2019 interview with Vogue that he became "really depressed" while on tour in 2017.

"I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do. I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep-rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be," he continued, referring to his union with new wife, model Hailey Baldwin.

Both Hailey (22) and Justin (25) – who call a mansion in Ontario, Canada, home – reportedly want to start a family. "I love kids and I can’t wait to have my own," Hailey recently told  Vogue Arabia. "I would say that now that’s a closer reality." Justin meanwhile has said in the past he wants to be “a young dad”.

He has however sparked concern for his mental health in recent months with his bouts of public crying.

But judging by this latest post, he seems to be trying to deal with his issues as best he can.

Hey, Biebs, we’re rooting for ya!
