Kanye West announces new music including a collaboration with Kid Cudi

Cape Town – American rapper Kanye West announced on Thursday night that he would be releasing two new albums; one on his own as a solo artist and one as part of a new group with fellow rapper Kid Cudi. 

The name of the new group is Kids See Ghost and their album will drop on 8 June; Kanye’s solo album – which will feature only seven songs -  will be released on 1 June.

Kanye tweeted the new music release dates along with photos of his new shoe designs and more release dates for artists on his label – Good Music - in a series of posts. 

This follows his proclamation that he is writing a philosophy book in tweets rather than traditional book format.
