Kanye West asked his album collaborators not to have premarital sex

Cape Town - Earlier this month rapper Kanye West publicly confirmed that he has converted to Christianity.

The album Jesus is King was due to be released in September according to a post by his wife, Kim but the day came and went with no new music release.

In his recent interview with DJ Zane Lowe on Apple Music, he revealed that he tried to ban premarital sex among people working on his new album, “Jesus is King”.

“There were times when I was asking people to fast during the album," he said.

“This is gonna be radical is what I'm about to say ... There were times when I was asking people to not have premarital sex while they were working on the album,” he continued.

‘There will be a time when I will be the president of the US and I will remember… any founder that didn’t have the capacity to understand culturally what we were doing”, he said.

In the same interview, the 42-year-old referred to himself as “unquestionably, undoubtedly the greatest human artist of all time”.

After the rapper promised a midnight release on 25 October, fans were disappointed when the new record failed to materialise.

The star took to social media to thank his fans for the support and being loyal and supportive.

‘To my fans Thank you for being loyal & patient We are specifically fixing mixes on “Everything We Need” “Follow God” & “Water”  We not going to sleep until this album is out,” he wrote.
