Cape Town - Kanye West finally released his long awaited album Ye on Friday and it was everything he said it would be.

The album features seven songs – which address topics such as: mental health, his relationship with his wife Kim Kardashian during his very public proclamation of his love for Trump, his struggles with his weight, and drug addiction and his thoughts on slavery.

All the songs on the album are jam packed with references to media controversies that have taken place such as: Russell Simmons being accused of sexual harassment, Tristan Thomas cheating on Khloé Kardashian and the death of Prince and Michael Jackson.

However, in the song Wouldn’t Leave he speaks about the aftermath of his ‘Slavery was a choice’ comments during his interview on TMZ.

“I said, "Slavery a choice"—they said, "How, 'Ye?" Just imagine if they caught me on a wild day,” he raps.

He then goes on to rap about how Kim called him screaming that they were “bout to lose it all” and how he had to calm her down because she couldn’t breathe.

“My wife callin', screamin', say, "We 'bout to lose it all!” Had to calm her down 'cause she couldn't breathe. Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn't leave.”

He continues to show his appreciation for Kim with the lyrics, “One and one is two but me and you, that's infinity."

Towards the end of the song, Kanye address every guy who has ever f***ed up and embarrassed their girlfriends or wives.

“For every down female that stuck with they dude. Through the best times, through the worst times, This for you”

The couple have remained strong in the public eye throughout the bad press that Kanye West has received following his controversial tweets and his recent interviews. Kim repeatedly came out in support of her husband and never showed signs of division.

Moments after Ye’s album was released, Kim took to social media to reveal that the 40-year-old took picture on his album cover on the way to the listening session which took place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
