Kanye West wants to set up his own church

Cape Town - American rapper Kanye West is planning to set up his own church. The father of three wants to create little "pods" on a plot of land he's bought for his followers to stay in according to The Sun. 

Kanye wants to use his famous Sunday Service sessions as the basis for his own religious organisation. A slew of celebrities like Sia, Katy Perry and DMX have all attended the services, which are by invitation only. North West - Kanye's first daughter with his wife, Kim - has performed at several of the gatherings. 

The businesswoman supported her husband's idea starting his own church in a recent episode of the reality show on which she stars, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. 

A source told the newspaper: "Kanye wants to develop a Church which introduces a new way to celebrate faith, bringing religion into the 21st century."
