Cape Town - Rapper Kanye West - now known as Ye - dropped by TMZ on Monday to explain why his new, publicly-announced album wasn’t released on Saturday night as he had previously promised in a tweet to his fans.
West said in the interview that the album, titled Yandhi, wasn’t released because he’s not done recording adding, “We’re going to Africa to record in two weeks.” He did not elaborate exactly where in Africa.
The rapper’s ninth studio album will now be released on 23 November which is also known as Black Friday in America (the day after the annual Thanksgiving holiday).
